Gurnet Theatre Project is excited to present our fourth summer of free outdoor theatre with THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED), the hilarious deconstruction of the most popular play cannon on earth, under the direction of GTP founding member Kristen Schnibbe. This August GTP returns to the Myles Standish Monument for one weekend only with this irreverent fast-paced romp through all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays in just 97 minutes. For the first time GTP will also be bringing their free summer production on the road, appearing for three performances only at the Boston Playwrights Theatre. Gurnet Theatre Project invites patrons in Duxbury to pack a beach chair, blanket, find a spot on the Myles Standish Monument reservation and enjoy a picnic dinner while the mayhem unfolds. Boston patrons are invited to join us at the Playwright's Theatre for a special indoor, intimate performance of this hilarious play. As usual all performances are FREE!
