Gurnet Theatre Project returns to the Myles Standish Monument in Duxbury, MA for a second summer of free outdoor theatre.  This summer we bring you one of the most beloved comedies from the world’s greatest dramatist, William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing.  As Beatrice and Benedick, old adversaries in the battle of the sexes, wage their “merry war” of witty insults, young lovers Hero and Claudio are to be married in one week.  Meanwhile, the evil Don Jon conspires to break up the wedding by accusing Hero of infidelity.  Potential tragedy yields to high comedy, however, as the lexically challenged Constable Dogberry stumbles upon the truth. Will it all just turn out to be much ado about nothing?  Find out, when GTP presents Much Ado About Nothing, four enchanting evenings only!
